Prediction Central was the name given by the late Prof. Harold C. Helgeson to the Laboratory of Theoretical Geochemistry – latterly Biogeochemistry – in the Department of Earth and Planetary Science – formerly Geology and Geophysics – at the University of California, Berkeley. The purpose of this website is to help continue the dissemination of Prof. Helgeson's scientific work (bibliography with abstracts and DOI links, download area for SUPCRT and OBIGT software and data files) and rememember his contributions and influence on students, friends and colleagues (HCH links, lab photos).
